Longleat Estate includes one of the UK’s most popular visitor attractions in the form of the Safari & Adventure Park. It features an extensive Safari Park, over 20 attractions and one of the most stunning stately homes in Britain. The multi-unit Food & Beverage department caters for approximately 8000 guests per day during peak months, and consists of quick service outlets offering a variety of cuisine from snacks and pizzas to quick service hot meals.
 

By Easter this year, we’ll be opening a brand new restaurant offering great quality wholesome comfort food for all the family; from rotisserie chicken and ribs, vegan tagine and classic fish and chips to a vibrant salad selection, hot brunches and freshly baked pastries! We are looking for permanent Food & Beverage team members to work in our brand new flagship restaurant and coffee shop!


ABOUT THE ROLE
 

As a Kitchen Production Assistant you will perform any combination of duties to prepare and cook high quality produced items, maintain the food production work areas/equipment and utensils in a clean and orderly condition and to comply with Health and Safety Legislation.

You will ensure the guests' requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations, ensuring prompt and professional attention, whilst upselling items. This is a great opportunity to experience working in a fast paced, high volume kitchen.

ABOUT YOU

 

Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for providing excellent guest service and maintaining the highest standards. Ideally you will be able to work well in busy times, remaining clam under pressure as well as working quickly and efficiently.

Experience of working within a customer facing service team in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

 

HOURS OF WORK

This role is available on a permanent part time basis. We will guarantee you a minimum of 312 hours over a 13 week period, which averages at 24 hours per week, although weekly hours will vary according to business needs. Our rotas are planned with at least 4 weeks in advance, and are on a 7 day basis including weekends and bank holidays.
