Health and Safety Administrator (Part Time - Fixed Term 12-Month Contract)

What will this role of Health and Safety Administrator entail?

Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, as the Health and Safety Administrator you will provide a full administration service to the Health and Safety Department. Your duties will include although not be limited to:
  • Completing all administrative processes regarding incident reporting, including recording incident forms, and generating periodic incident reports and statistics
  • Taking responsibility for the coordination of Health and Safety training, arranging and booking all central Health and Safety courses, sending joining instructions to delegates, booking meeting rooms and maintaining training records
  • Maintaining accurate First Aider and Fire Marshal records
  • Coordinating periodic inspections, supporting the maintenance of insurance claims records

What will I need to be considered for this Health and Safety Administrator vacancy?
  • Proven experience providing administrative support dealing with internal and external clients
  • Experience of setting up and maintaining administrative systems including spreadsheets and databases
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability to prioritise and respond to changing demands
What will I receive in return?

As a Health and Safety Administrator, you’ll receive a salary of (GBP) 17,000 to 19,000 (pro-rata) level dependent on experience), along with superb benefits including 29 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays (pro-rata), complimentary tickets to Longleat and Cheddar Gorge, discounts on retail merchandise, life assurance cover, free parking and more perks.

Contract: Fixed term 12-month contract, part time (20 hours per week) working 3 to 5 days within Monday to Friday.

Location: Longleat (Warminster, Wiltshire)
