With almost 1 million visitors every year, we are passionate about providing wondrous and immersive experiences that lead to lifelong memories. Despite our established reputation, we constantly strive to educate, excite and inspire our guests – from hosting the UK’s largest ever hot air balloon gathering, to celebrating our Festival of Light; the first and biggest event of its kind in the UK, with a total of 3,000 spectacular Chinese lanterns transforming the night-time sky.
With so much on offer, it’s no surprise that guests to the park can work up quite an appetite – fortunately, the dedicated Food and Beverage Team are always on hand to deliver an amazing service and an exciting variety of food and beverages. During peak months, the team can regularly cater for approximately 8000 guests per day across multiple units. The recently opened 1.5m (GBP) ‘Chameleon Tree’ restaurant and coffee house offers guests wholesome, contemporary comfort food to suit every taste in a welcoming environment that can cater for up to 420 people at any one time!
What will this role of Food and Beverage Team Member entail?
Playing a key part in the Food and Beverage operation, as a Food and Beverage Team Member you’ll focus on consistently delivering a first-class guest service. You’ll achieve this through a variety of ways – from advising customers on products and answering their queries, efficiently operating tills, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all food and beverage services areas, to clearing and cleaning tables as required.
What will I need to be considered for this Food and Beverage Team Member vacancy?
- Demonstrable customer service experience
- An abundance of enthusiasm and energy and a passion for delivering a great customer experience
- Excellent communication skills with a confident, mature and friendly nature
- Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Be honest, reliable and committed, and enjoy responsibility and exceeding expectations
- Flexible to work extra hours / weekends as required
Although not essential, previous experience within the hospitality industry in a fast-paced environment would be highly advantageous.

Contract Type: Seasonal (fixed term contract), with winter season due to start early to mid-October 2018 until the 6th of January 2019
Hours of Work: Working hours to vary on a 7-day rota basis – earliest rota’d start time from 9am, and latest finish time up to 8pm.
Up to full time hours are available between the 20th of October and the 4th of November. Throughout the remainder of November 3 days per week are available as per site opening Friday / Saturday / Sunday. Longleat will be open 7 days a week in December, at which point full time hours will be available again.
Please note, due to the nature of the business evenings and weekend work will be required, including bank holidays.
