Cheddar Gorge is a world-famous site is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is an international centre for caving and rock climbing.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Costa Store based at Cheddar Gorge. As Assistant Manager you'll be passionate about customer service, love great coffee and be almost fanatical about driving the store forwards.




The Costa Assistant Manager will guide and develop the team to serve the best in food and drinks. The role will take accountability for the day to day running of the store and in the Store Manager’s absence ensure that all tasks are completed, including managing the stock and order systems for food & consumables ensuring that the store has 100% supply of items for the customer.

You’ll take pride in ensuring the Cheddar Costa store, from when opened to closed, is adhering to all Costa standards, policies & procedures.

We are looking for a leader and role model, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service, love great coffee and have a talent for getting the best from your team. With a natural enthusiasm for the task in hand, you will be able to share this zeal with the team and motivate them to higher standards.

You will have worked in a fast paced environment and have previous supervisory experience in a hospitality or customer facing environment. The ideal candidate will be Barista Maestro accredited or hold an equivalent qualification.



This is a full time permanent contract, working 39 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 with weekend and bank holiday working essential due to the nature of our business.
