ABOUT THE ROLE
The role is very variable from preventative maintenance across the whole range of buildings, fixed equipment and services to repairs and new projects on traditional aspects of the Park.
The primary focus will be acting as the Park Electrician to carry out all aspects of and assisting with all forms of electrical work as required including electrical rewires, wiring upgrades, minor works repairs and fault finding.
You will ensure that all work undertaken is within relevant legislation, guidelines and code of practice, and that all procedures are adhered to. In addition you are part of an estates team that is involved in all aspects of buildings / property maintenance and on occasions you may also need to work with the engineering team in respect of the rides & attractions.

Our ideal candidate must hold all relevant Electrical Qualifications concurrent with regulations to undertake work described and have a high level of experience within a similar role.
The ability to work on your own or as part of a team, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with our guests and colleagues are essential to this role.
IPAF or PASMA qualified is desirable as well as a good working knowledge of all other trades associated with general building and repairs would be an advantage.
HOURS OF WORK
This role is available on a fixed term basis, working 40 hours a week, 5 days out of 7 including weekends and bank holidays. In addition you will be on call at any time to assist with emergencies. Start and finish times will vary in accordance with park opening times.
