Cheddar Gorge is a world-famous site is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is an international centre for caving and rock climbing. We are looking for sales assistants to join the busy retail team at Cheddar Gorge & Caves.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be required to serve our guests at till points, replenish stock levels and deliver excellent customer service, actively seeking opportunities to engage with our guests and helping with any inquiries. It is important for our retail team to have excellent product knowledge on all our various retail outlets across the site.
You will ensure the guests' requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations, ensuring prompt and professional attention.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing excellent guest service and maintaining the highest standards. An attention to detail is important, ensuring all retail outlets are presented to high standard, with stock levels replenished regularly.
HOURS OF WORK
This role is available on a permanent part time basis. We will guarantee you a minimum of 312 hours over a 13 week period, which averages at 24 hours per week, although weekly hours will vary according to business needs. Our rotas are planned with at least 4 weeks in advance, and are on a 7 day basis including weekends and bank holidays.
