ABOUT THE ROLE
The Section Leader will be responsible for the effective implementation of the duties relating to repair and maintenance predominately across the Park, and to communicate relevant information at all levels in order to deliver works to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for assisting the Works Manager with all aspects of building management. In particular the role will lead and organise the direct labour team covering joinery, carpentry, plumbing, electrics, masonry and grounds work as well as specialist sub-contractors.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have substantial multi-trade experience, proven competent with electrical work and a good knowledge of Health Safety and Environmental processes and best practice. You will hold a recognised trade qualification i.e. City & Guilds, as well as a Health & Safety qualification i.e. IOSH Managing Safely.
You will also have a substantial proven record of supervising work and a CSCS Card, IPAF and PASMA are Ddsirable.
HOURS OF WORK
This is a permanent full time contract working 40 hours a week working 5 days out of 7 including weekends and bank holidays. Start and finish times will vary in accordance with Park opening times. In addition there will be a requirement to be on the department call-out rota to assist with emergencies.
