What will this role of Waiting Staff Team Member entail?

Playing a key part in the Food and Beverage operation, as a Waiting Staff Team Member you’ll focus on consistently delivering a first-class customer service.

You’ll achieve this through a variety of ways – from advising customers on products and answering their queries, efficiently operating tills, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all food and beverage services areas, to clearing and cleaning tables as required.

During peak months, the team can regularly cater for approximately 8000 guests per day across multiple units. Our Chameleon Tree restaurant and coffee house offers guests wholesome, contemporary comfort food to suit every taste in a welcoming environment that can cater for up to 420 people at any one time!

What will I need to be considered for this Waiting Staff Team Member vacancy?
  • Demonstrable customer service experience
  • An abundance of enthusiasm and energy and a passion for delivering a great customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills with a confident, mature and friendly nature
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Be honest, reliable and committed, and enjoy responsibility and exceeding expectations
  • Flexible to work extra hours / weekends as required
Although not essential, previous customer service experience within the hospitality industry in a fast-paced environment would be highly advantageous.

The successful candidates will be offered fixed-term contracts that will run through to the 5th of January 2020, with working hours to vary on a 7-day rota basis – earliest rota’d start time from 9am, and latest finish time up to 8pm.

Please note, due to the nature of the business evenings and weekend work will be required, including bank holidays.
