Permanent contract – 40 hours per week


Nestled within Lord Bath’s magnificent Longleat Estate in the village of Horningsham, The Bath Arms (part of the Longleat Enterprises group) is a quintessential country pub and restaurant with 17 quirky bedrooms located in the main property and adjoining annex. Our AA-rosette award-winning gastro pub offers a great British menu filled with home grown, traditional food, which the talented team of Chefs are proud to serve.

Offering a friendly, relaxed environment from which to enjoy Longleat’s attractions, our estate also serves as a superb base to enjoy the rest of the West Country.

What will this role of Food and Beverage Assistant entail?

Playing a key part in the Food and Beverage operation at The Bath Arms, as a Food and Beverage Assistant you’ll focus on consistently delivering a first-class guest service.

You’ll achieve this through a variety of ways – from advising customers on products and answering their queries, efficiently operating tills, maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of all food and beverage services areas, to clearing and cleaning tables as required.

What will I need to be considered for this Food and Beverage Assistant vacancy?
  • Demonstrable customer service experience
  • An abundance of enthusiasm and energy and a passion for delivering a great customer experience
  • Excellent communication skills with a confident, mature and friendly nature
  • Be honest, reliable and committed, and enjoy responsibility and exceeding expectations
  • Flexible to work extra hours / weekends as required

Although not essential, previous experience within the hospitality industry in a fast-paced environment would be highly advantageous.

Contract: Permanent contract. 40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7. Please note, due to the nature of the business split shifts, evenings and weekend work will be required, including bank holidays.
