Description
Longleat Estate includes one of the UK’s most popular visitor attractions in the form of the Safari & Adventure Park. It features an extensive Safari Park, over 20 attractions and one of the most stunning stately homes in Britain. The multi-unit Food & Beverage department caters for approximately 8000 guests per day during peak months and consists of a variety of restaurants, coffee shops and fast food kiosks offering a variety of cuisines from stone baked pizza to fresh hot donuts.

ABOUT THE ROLE
 
The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager is responsible for managing an eclectic mix of food outlets which serve the many visitors to the park annually. Direct leadership of the team through daily tasks is essential and the ability to carry out plans and processes whilst operating in a fast paced environment to ensure we deliver an excellent guest experience.  Reporting directly to, and supporting, the F & B Manager in the managing of all main square food outlets ensuring targets are met including sales growth, minimising wastage and developing the team to deliver bottom line profit.

You will ensure the guests' requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations, ensuring prompt and professional attention, whilst up-selling items.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills who is energetic and enthusiastic to work in our fast-paced environment. You will be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure and in a large team.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
 
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management role within a food & beverage service operation is essential, preferably within a multi-unit leisure operation or high volume branded restaurant group. 
  • CIEH approved level 3 supervising food safety or equivalent.
  • City and Guilds Level 3 in hospitality supervision & leadership or equivalent.
  • Personal alcohol license.
  • Driving license.
      
WORKING HOURS 

The role is full time permanent position working 5 out of 7 days and will include weekends and bank holidays due to the nature of our business.
