ABOUT THE ROLE
The PR & Social Media Executive will oversee the day-to-day running of the business’s social media channels and PR function. Providing support for the Group’s Business to Business activities, Estate and hotels within the Group.
This role will be responsible for advice and implementation of the most appropriate PR & Social media tactics so that they are fully integrated into all campaigns across Longleat and Cheddar Gorge & Caves.
This role will also consistently produce inspiring and engaging content for PR, website and social media across a wide range of formats including video.
We are looking for a degree level qualification with relevant communications qualification with at least 2 years’ experience in a social media or PR role.
Our ideal candidate will have technical understanding of social media platforms for business use. Including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as well as strong analytical skills with experience in using analytical tools to optimise activity. E.G. Facebook for Business, Google Analytics etc.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers and broadcasters as well as a genuine passion for the attractions business, historic houses and the leisure industry.

HOURS OF WORK
This role is available on permanent basis, working 37.5 hours a week. 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.15 pm. Must be flexible, able and willing to work extra hours to meet business demands. Weekend, evenings and bank holiday working as required.
