Cheddar Gorge is a world-famous site is an area of outstanding natural beauty and is an international center for caving and rock climbing. We are looking for sales assistants to join the busy retail team at Cheddar Gorge & Caves.


You will be required to serve our guests at till points, replenish stock levels and deliver excellent customer service, actively seeking opportunities to engage with our guests and helping with any enquiries. It is important for our retail team to have excellent product knowledge on all our various retail outlets across the site.
You will ensure the guests' requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations, ensuring prompt and professional attention.


Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing excellent guest service and maintaining the highest standards. An attention to detail is important, ensuring all retail outlets are presented to high standard, with stock levels replenished regularly.


This role is available on a Fixed Term Zero Hours basis, ideally starting in July 2018 for a period of up to 12 months. Hours are available up to and including full -time, working 5 out of 7 days a week depending on staff rota requirements. Hours may vary occasionally to include evenings and weekends given the nature of our business.
