Cheddar Gorge is a world-famous site is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is an international centre for caving and rock climbing.


An experienced “Coffee Maker” or just have a passion for coffee? Then look no further.
We require a Barista to join our team at our Costa Store at Cheddar Cave and Gorge. Working in a fast paced and fun environment doing your best to provide a quick and efficient service at all times.

General duties include taking guest orders at tills and handling the payment, preparing and serving orders, replenishing stock levels and working as part of the busy team to ensure Costa provides great service in a timely fashion. You will ensure the guests' requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations, ensuring prompt and professional attention, whilst upselling items.


The successful applicant will deliver an efficient, cheerful and courteous service to our guests in a customer facing role.
Experience with using coffee machines is desirable too. Are you friendly, outgoing, enthusiastic and cheerful? you will be able to work under pressure, maintaining exceptional service standards at the busiest of times.


This is a Permanent role, working 20 hours a week. A degree of flexibility is required to include weekend and bank holiday working essential due to the nature of our business.
