With so much on offer, it’s no surprise that guests to the park can work up quite an appetite – fortunately, the dedicated Food and Beverage Team are always on hand to deliver an amazing service and an exciting variety of food and beverages.

What will this role of Kitchen Food Production Supervisor entail?

As the Kitchen Food Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for the daily supervision of the Food Production department at Longleat. You’ll train and develop the Kitchen Food Production team to ensure that the highest standards of presentation are delivered for all food and beverage items.

You’ll attend daily morning briefs and gather the requirements needed for the day ahead and ensure that your team meet the volumes needed. During peak months, the Food and Beverage team can regularly cater for approximately 8000 guests per day across multiple units, which will ensure your role is varied and busy.

What will I need to be considered for this Kitchen Food Production Supervisor vacancy?
  • Proven experience of working in a fast-paced high-volume kitchen environment, within a multi-food outlet site or large scale food production site
  • City and Guilds Level 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent
  • CIEH approved Level 2 in Food Safety or equivalent
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with a confident, mature and friendly nature
  • Be honest, reliable and committed, and enjoy responsibility and exceeding expectations
  • Flexible to work extra hours / weekends as required
What will I receive in return?

As a Kitchen Food Production Supervisor, you will receive a salary of #18,000 to #22,000 per annum, level dependent on experience, in addition to a range of attractive benefits that include; 29 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, complimentary tickets to Longleat and Cheddar Gorge and Caves, discounts on food and beverages and retail merchandise, along with life assurance cover and more perks.

Contract: Permanent, working 40 hours per week on a 7-day rota basis. Earliest rota’d start time from 9am, and latest finish time up to 8pm.

Please note, due to the nature of the business evenings and weekend work will be required, including bank holidays.
